How Incarnation and Suffering Brings Redemption

Continuing with Hebrews chapter 2, and springboarding from the last discussion about angels and humans, we examine closely the humanity of the Son and how He lowered Himself.

Many who call themselves “Christians” claim that Jesus was only human. We look deeply at the arguments from Hebrews chapter 2 to see that the emphasis on humanity only shows us why Jesus has to be more than only a human.

We see words and phrases that clearly show that humanity was a voluntary means to accomplish the goal of redemption. He wasn’t created human by His Lord. He choose to take on humanity.
