What Is the Purpose of Ministry?

A Christian leader recently confessed to writing anonymous posts criticizing fellow ministers. The worst part was lying about it for over two years.

Why did this happen when it doesn’t seem to make sense?

We need to examine ourselves for pride. Pride is the dangerous original sin that can make you do strange things to hold onto the things you hold dear for the wrong reasons. Pride leads to other sins and covering them up like lying and adultery that bring down ministers and reduce ministries to rubble.

This episode isn’t meant to be criticism. It’s about examining our own hearts to stop pride in its tracks. We also need to ask ourselves what is the purpose of Christian ministry.

The Book of Mormon: Part 13 (Enos, Jarom, and Omni)

This episode is part 13 in a series going through the story of the Book of Mormon. This episode covers three small books that follow the Book of Jacob: Enos, Jarom, and Omni.
