Was Jesus a Socialist? (part 3)

In this episode of Truthspresso Express I chat about Jesus and socialism while driving to work.

A coworker recently made the claim to me that Jesus was a socialist. I have certainly heard this claim before, but I figured I would address it.

In part 3 I walk through the parable of the vineyard workers in Matthew chapter 20 that I have heard people claim teaches socialism. However, a closer look at the details shows that it teaches free market principles:

  1. private property
  2. profits
  3. enforcing voluntary contracts
  4. supply and demand

The 2024 elections exceeded many expectations. Donald J. Trump is once again slated for the White House. He won in an electoral landslide and won the popular vote. He gained in almost every demographic. We look at some fiscal data and figure out why Gen Z and younger Millennials shifted the most toward Trump from 2020.
