Was Jesus a Socialist? (part 2)

In this episode of Truthspresso Express I chat about Jesus and socialism while driving to work.

A coworker recently made the claim to me that Jesus was a socialist. I have certainly heard this claim before, but I figured I would address it.

In part 2 I talk about how Jesus avoided being a leader of a political revolution. He taught voluntary charity.

I also walked through two parables in Matthew chapter 25 where Jesus seemed to teach “meritocracy”:

  1. The wise and foolish virgins
  2. The talents/pounds

The 2024 elections exceeded many expectations. Donald J. Trump is once again slated for the White House. He won in an electoral landslide and won the popular vote. He gained in almost every demographic. We look at some fiscal data and figure out why Gen Z and younger Millennials shifted the most toward Trump from 2020.
